Valentine's Special Part 2 Stephanie Hirschmiller Wednesday, February 8, 2012

If you enjoyed Part 1, there's a WHOLE lot more where that came from. And if you're single please don't stop reading as we'd never leave you out...

Lashings of Lust
That’s what you can expect from a V Day dinner at St Martin’s Lane’s Asia de Cuba. The restaurant will be serving complimentary aphrodisiac aperitifs to all diners - guaranteed to start the night as you mean it to end. And before you head off, there’s a special dessert of chocolate and strawberry mousse coated in dark chocolate presented alongside a sugar basket of strawberries with rosewater mist (just in case you forgot the flowers).

Threesome at Bluebird
Bluebird is mounting a three-pronged Valentine’s Day attack. For traditionalists, there’s a romantic three course menu starting with a glass of rosé Champagne, £75pp, but if you’d rather a more hands-on approach then head to the Wine Cellar for it’s a Salmon & Champagne tasting £25 (£90pp with dinner afterwards). And if you’re still looking for love, you can try your luck at Speed Dating at an event running concurrently in the Café, £25, including bubbles on arrival and a buffet.

The three course Valentine’s menu begins with a glass of rosé Champagne and continues with Smoked salmon glazed with pink Champagne and caviar and a Duo of dark Chocolate and passion fruit mousses, £49.50pp. Available 11-13 February.
