Marylebone: home to Sherlock Holmes, A- list celebrities and now a brand new contemporary European restaurant, The Cavendish. The restaurant which opens its door this week, houses a 1940s gentleman clubs interior designed by the team behind Tom’s Kitchen, The Botanist and Copita.  

The new restaurant doesn’t just look the part, the food is also set to live up to expectations and with Alfonso Lillo Fas heading it up this is no surprise. For all those that don’t already know, Fas was trained at El Bulli and was also a finalist on the Spanish equivalent of Masterchef. There will definitely be some heat coming from the kitchen (and we don’t only mean the cooking) with Lillo Fas and the rest of his team preparing a menu of modern dishes complete with a crisp, simple style.

All of the ingredients have been freshly sourced from Europe and will be ready to try at breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week. If it is not food that you are looking for, head there for some drinks with friends, taking in the elegant war period atmosphere. Definitely one to try.
