Kettner’s was first opened as a restaurant by Auguste Kettner, (chef to Napoleon III) in 1867. Gorgeously glamorous, Kettner’s today boasts a Brasserie, Cocktail and Champagne Bar and eight Private Rooms.
Kettner’s elegant Brasserie serves Modern European dishes all day with a range of menus to suit all occasions. Live music from Tuesday to Saturday on a white grand piano sets the evening ambience. The Cocktail and Champagne Bar has huge a range of champagnes and an array of seasonal cocktails.
Kettner's Events Rooms
Kettner’s seven private rooms include two showcase spaces; The Apartment and The Salle De Fête, which suit groups of up to 120 people as well a variety of smaller rooms which are perfect for meetings and private dining.
The Apartment has a colourful history and a members club feel with a secret entrance on Greek Street. It was where Edward VII entertained his mistress Lillie Langtry and during Oscar Wilde’s thee year residence he was arrested there many times! The space draws inspiration from a French film director’s lair with wooden panelled walls, comfy ‘casting’ couches, a bespoke drinks cabinet and a grand piano can be hired into the room. The space is perfect for parties and can be used for a seated dinner or a drinks party with a band or DJ.

The Salle De Fête has an elegant penthouse feel on the second floor at the top of our house. It comprises two open spaces of The Salle and The Attic Bar. It’s a perfect for any large gathering where a free flow of space is required. The light and airy rooms are hugely adaptable and can be styled in a variety of ways.

Kettner’s six other Private Dining Rooms have been lovingly restored and given a fresh twist. Each room has an elegant feel and are all multi-purpose. We have a selection of AV equipment available.
