Parliament Square

12 Great George Street, RICS Headquarters is situated in the heart of Westminster, overlooking Parliament Square. The building was designed by Alfred Waterhouse and comprises of a Lecture Hall with capacity for 130 people for events such as receptions, conferences, press briefings and sit down meals for up to 100 people. There is also the Council Chamber where 80 people can sit for an audio visual conference or meeting. We have several smaller rooms serving from 8 to 40 people. These rooms are ideal for meetings and presentations and catering may be served within the rooms, or 'Twelve' our restaurant.

Visitors to the building are now greeted by a light, spacious and welcoming interior, that complements and enhances the best of the original features. On the ground floor, the new café is a great meeting place and offers a selection of sandwiches and salads featuring daily specials along with a range of coffees, teas, handmade cookies and cakes. The café houses three intranet stations where members can browse through the online bookshop.

The Institution celebrated its’ Centenary in 1999 when Her Majesty the Queen unveiled the RICS Millennium Sculpture, located on the Roof Terrace which overlooks Parliament Square. Adjacent to the Roof Terrace is the Presidents Suite These two areas are available jointly for prestigious meetings and sit down meals for up to 18 people. The Terrace is particularly popular over the summer months and suitable for BBQ's and drinks receptions.

12 , the RICS restaurant, has been transformed into a stylish, modern and informal environment where members and non members can entertain clients, or lunch with colleagues. The menu, carefully put together by the caterers, Directors Table, captures the essence of food - sausage and mash rubs shoulders with smoked salmon and dill linguini.
