To help you find the best activations going on this September, we’ve rounded up our favourite restaurants and retailers taking part, from The Athenaeum’s pretty floral afternoon tea to The Ivy Chelsea Garden’s limited edition cocktail range.

The Athenaeum Hotel & Residences

Afternoon tea doesn’t get much prettier than this… To celebrate the world’s greatest flower show, Mayfair’s The Athenaeum Hotel & Residences has launched an afternoon tea inspired by all of the florals.

The limited edition menu, created by head pastry chef Sergei Kuzmin, will be available to enjoy from 21st – 26th September, and will feature a selection of outdoorsy inspired delights. Enjoy sandwiches of avocado, grilled courgette, coriander and almond; hot smoked salmon with spring onion and lemon sour cream; and Burford brown egg mayo with garden herbs, before moving on the homemade cakes and pastries.

There’ll be a ‘purple sensation’ rose, lychee and raspberry mousse; mango and passion fruit ‘sunflower’ and a chocolate and blackberry ‘pink hydrangea’.

The Ivy Chelsea Garden

The Ivy Chelsea Garden invites you to take a trip to an enchanted forest this September. In celebration of the flower show, they’ve teamed up with Perrier-Jouët Champagne to create a magical floral installation and bespoke seasonal cocktails.

Available from 14th September, the popular Chelsea restaurant will be transformed into an autumnal ‘Enchanted Escape’, paying homage to the occasion. Expect the restaurant to be adorned with autumn blooms, a wishing well, moon sculpture seat and plenty of photo opportunities dotted about.

For cocktails, there’s the Rose of the Forest, made with a rich blend of Monkey 47 Black Forest Gin, Cherry Herring Liqueur, Fever Tree raspberry and rose, and finished with Perrier-Jouët Blason Rose Champagne and garnished with a rose petal; the Spice & Sparkle, made with Plymouth Gin, spice ginger & lemongrass cordial, lime juice, lavender syrup and Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut Champagne; and the Luna, inspired by Italian botanical gardens.
