Everyone needs a dose of levity right now while they’re doing the right thing and staying indoors to help fight the spread of Coronavirus. That’s why we’ve scoured the internet to find the funniest viral videos to help you get through this strange, strange period.

From Curtis Roach’s Bored in the House renditions to a Les Misérables lockdown adaptation, here’s ten videos that’ll be sure to make you crack a smile and might even have you in stitches of laughter.

Bored In The House – Curtis Roach

If you’re self-isolating at home with your teenage brother, you’ll have certainly heard renditions of this on repeat over the last month, but Curtis Roach’s TikTok hit went viral.

One month later and everyone in the know is recreating their own version using these rather apt lyrics, and since releasing his part two yesterday with none other than Tyga, we’re certain the hilarity of this video is sure to keep on soaring.

The lyrics are something I’m sure we can all resonate with right now.

Those after witty British humour will absolutely love Alister Green’s hilarious quarantine special series.

From laughing at individuals completely oblivious to the importance of social distancing to mocking the need for 5G, his videos will have you in cry-laughing within seconds.

Picking Out A Quarantine Character

A personal favourite of mine has to be the creation virtual quarantine character by @linadirector.

Mocking the fact that everyone’s living in their best lives in their PJs, popping open a bottle of wine by 3pm and working out in their living room rather than heading to the gym, the video really hits a nerve hard with us millennials who are trying to make it through this weird old quarantine period.

Her other videos are just as hilarious too. Definitely one to watch if you’re after a serious chuckle.

There’s a whole host of hilarious TikTok challenges out there so it’s only right to include a few that got to us good…

We have TikTok user Keara Wilson to thank for creating the #SavageChallenge, and it essentially will see you dancing along to Megan Thee Stallion’s epic tune, Savage. Now every TikTok user and influencer under the sun is joining in to recreate this golden one.

Bob Mortimer’s Train Guy Series

Anyone else really not missing commuting into work? If you somehow are missing the stuffy old tube, Bob Mortimer’s train guy series will make you want to take back that remark while having you in stitches.

Comedian and TV present Bob Mortimer will have you laughing for a solid ten minutes as he mocks that one really annoying guy every train ride boasts, whether its harping on about his latest work projects, recounting his 20k holiday to the Maldives, or simply flaunting his middle classness around. Admit it, we all know the type.

UPDATE ON 5 APRIL: if you like this video, and feel able, please contribute to the charity that we are donating all our revenue to, which is the World Health Organization COVID-19 Solidarity Fund: https://www.facebook.com/donate/1564752357011737/. Facebook will match what you give. You can find a post about our response to our 'One Day More' video going viral, and another family musical number on my Facebook feed above (or here: https://www.facebook.com/ben.marsh.1650).ORIGINAL MESSAGE ON 29 MARCH:This is the last one we are going to do on a lockdown theme, but it felt very apt. And it might be just in time to cheer up some friends and family who have had – or are about to have – birthdays, all by themselves. Decided to include a bit of the intro so that you can see what kind of madness Danielle Marsh and I would be dealing with, if we didn't occupy them with music making…Hope everyone out there is doing okay.

A Lockdown Les Misérables Adaptation

This video is a gift that keeps on giving. I first saw this video on another news outlet and literally spat my tea out because I was just in complete shock at its hilarity. And, then I got my hands on this version and it’s home to an introductory section with the whole family bickering party at the beginning.

If you’re sat there at home trying to work, while homeschooling the kids, cleaning and somehow keeping the kitchen cupboards stocked, you’re not alone. This hilarious video from the Marsh family brings your reality to life through humour, bickering and truth. It’s comedy gold.

To put it lightly, the ViralBrothers are hilarious on YouTube, but it’s their TikTok account that’s been stacking up the views.

You’ve probably already had the pleasure of seeing this beauty but it’s Erik’s latest video that we can’t stop laughing at. Replace the husband where needs fit, be it your child, pet or sibling. Truly hilarious.

Conan’s At-Home Late Night Show

Arguably one of the funniest men in America, I mean he’s had a late night comedy focused talk show for 25+ years, Conan O’Brien has managed to win us over with his budget looking Zoom dial-ins for his daily talk show.

With exotic animals at the forefront of everybody’s minds since Tiger King became a Netflix phenomenon, O’Brien took the topic one step further bringing zookeepers onto the show to showcase their exotic creatures. Of course, now that everyone is social distancing and isolating in their houses, things look a little different and the result of this sketch couldn’t have turned out better.

Shaun Of The Dead Adaptation

Comedy duo Simon Pegg and Nick Frost have been back at it again with a hilarious reenactment of their hit zombie-parody film, Shaun of the Dead.

Expect your favourite comedy lines to come to life, only this time in light of the Coronavirus crisis and yearning you all to stay inside to help fight the spread.

Anyway, we’re off to The Winchester. Who’s in?

JoJo – Chill (Stay In)

JoJo’s Too Little, Too Late helped define a generation. The lyrics taught us about guys who mess you about and toxic teenage relationships. Nearly 15 years on, JoJo is back and she’s worked this beauty into a quarantine special.

It’s witty, but more importantly, it’s incredibly powerful through humour, telling listeners to stay inside to help prevent the spread of COVID 19.
