If you feel yourself falling out of love with the city, let @richardleemassey’s Instagram stories guide you on a journey of rediscovery and adventure. Every day Richard documents his morning run, dashing from area to area, stopping off at prime independent grocery stores, retailers and takeaway spots. So engrossing, the stories feel as though we’re right there with him, falling back in love with the cobblestone streets, historic buildings and iconic landmarks.
Not to mention his grid too, which is filled with beautiful shots of London’s hospitality scene too, with recommendations of where’s hot to head to right now and post-lockdown. If you’re feeling a little fed up of city life during quarantine, Richard’s Instagram page truly will make you fall back in love with the city you call home.
Founded by Katya Katkova, who grew up in Lithuania, the @eastlondonmornings Instagram grid brings its followers everything they need to be in-the-know around the East London area. The blog and Insta account blends together London’s creative side to its foodie and bar scene, bringing its followers on a journey around haunts in East London, from brunch spots to neighbourhood bars.
Pre-Covid we met up with her to chat about all things London related which you can check out here for some inspiration post-lockdown.

Created by Siobhan Ferguson, the Instagram account boasts a wealth of over 415k followers and presents London in its prettiest form, from the cobblestone streets of Hampstead through to the flower markets dotted around the city.

Throughout the pandemic @clerkenwellboyec1 has helped Londoners fall back in love with the vibrant flavours and coolest new dining spots it’s known for. From running competitions with restaurants throughout the Christmas season to throwing in a few of his own foodie creations, it’s an Insta grid that’s prided itself on helping to lift up our spirits during the darkest few months.
From moody shots of the city at dusk to glistening shots of London at Christmas, @justefe’s Insta grid manages to make us fall head over heels for the city we call home time and time again. We especially love the gloomy shot of the London Eye reflected over the Thames.

You’ve no doubt spotted this car around town, or at least seen it popping up on your Insta grid numerous times, but it never gets old.
Helping to add a splash of colour to your working week is @lepinkfigaro’s Instagram account, created by @bei.bei.wei. The pretty in pink car is often spotted around the city, from lining the Notting Hill technicoloured houses to sitting perfectly outside Leadenhall Market.
