The weekend is fast approaching and London has an abundance of goings-on to spoil us with, whether you’re a foodie, film buff or fashion fiend.
Here are our top 10 – all COVID and curfew approved, of course.

Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at TheChesterfield, Mayfair
London’s music and restaurant scene might seem worlds away from what it was this time last year, but there are a few glimmers of hope shining through, bringing music and food lovers alike some special events amidst all the doom and gloom.
TheChesterfield in Mayfair are kicking off an exclusive supper series this Saturday 17th October, in partnership with none other than the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
Set within the beautiful Butler’s Restaurant, guests will be treated to a decadent seven-course tasting menu alongside the music of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’s string quartet. The menu will not disappoint, with highlights including hand-dived Orkney scallops, truffled fillet of turbot, Japanese waygu or butter roasted cauliflower steak and Valrhona chocolate. And the whole evening will be a treat for classical music fans as Huw Davies, Deputy Managing Director of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, will be taking to hosting duties. Plus, there will be a special Q&A session with the musicians themselves post-dinner.

The Hackney Clothes Swap Shop
You can love fashion and, dare we say it, shopping for new clothes and live a sustainable life all at once – the two are not mutually exclusive as long as you’re savvy about it. If that sounds like you, head to the Hackney Clothes Swap Shop, in partnership with Hackney Council, Loanhood and The Seam, this Saturday 17th October for some retail therapy with a conscience.
LoanHood will create a ‘shop’ experience (adhering to COVID guidelines of course), with swap-shop assistants to help you restyle and exchange items, extend the life of unworn garments and reduce the need for clothes headed to landfill.
If you’re not in the market for a new look but are keen to give some love to tired pieces, The Seam will be on hand for clothes repairs and customisations all day.

Sexy Fish’s Fantasy Brunch
You can always trust Sexy Fish to offer up an experience not to be forgotten, full of good food, tunes, excellent people watching and general revelry, and even in these COVID-19 times, the Mayfair restaurant are doing their bit to bring a bit of magic back to London.
This weekend, the Berkeley Square hotspot launches its Fantasy Brunch series in collaboration with Japanese craft spirits producer The House of Suntory.
Guests will be invited to step inside a world of reimagined reality every Saturday throughout October from midday to 10pm – just in time for crucial kicking out curfew time.
This Saturday, world-renowned DJ Kaz James will be taking to the decks from 3pm – 5pm, brunch will be served, as will an array of creative cocktails (Sexy Fish do some of the most imaginative tipples in the capital) including the Aegir, featuring Haku Vodka, jasmine, coriander, strawberry and soda; the Sirena, incorporating a sumptuous blend of Roku Gin, strawberry, jasmine, pineapple and lime; and Nāmak, with Toki Whisky, coconut, pineapple, yuzu, Campari and soda.

Round off the week with your favourite five and 50% off the bill as Hicce launch a brunch menu with a half price discount.
The restaurant, opened by Great British Menu chef Pip Lacey, is based in Coal Drops Yard and will be offering 50% off the food bull for two weeks.
Tuck into dishes that include mushroom and emmental croque monsieur and beetroot cured smoked salmon on rye, served with a wasabi mayo. There’s also the pastrami and tomme de savoie served on toasted sourdough or a choice of pancakes from the cheesy taleggio and spinach potato pancake to the indulgent pancakes served with maple syrup rum bananas, bacon, chocolate, whipped cream.
