The Murdér Express

Championing the golden age of travel when people took train journeys for pleasure, fares probably weren’t so hideous you need to try and get your hands on a rare railcard and they served more than just lukewarm tea and chocolate, The Murdér Express is an immersive experience that’ll transport you back to the 19th century. Visit the Seven Sins Bar as your luggage is packed for a pre-trip cocktails and then get ready to board the elegant dining car on The Murdér Express. Watch the countryside fly past and meet a few flamboyant characters along the way while you tuck into a four course meal. They say that there has never been a murder on The Murdér Express but there’s a first time for everything…

Secret Cinema

When it comes to immersive cinema, there’s one group that’s leading the way: Secret Cinema, the production team that take iconic films and TV shows and brings them to life through spectacular experiences.

Currently they’re trying their hand at bringing to life the Netflix phenomena, Stranger Things and they’re executing it pretty darn well. Flock in your finest 80s gear and prepare to be partying it up at Starcourt Mall before entering the mystifying Hawkins fun fair. And, if there’s any Dirty Dancing fans out there, sit tight because Secret Cinema Presents Dirty Dancing returns to the big city this July.

Moriarty’s Game

You might recognise him as  Sherlock Holmes’ nemesis but this time, Professor James Moriarty has challenged you… Solve a series of testing clues sent to your phone as you journey across the city on another of HiddenCity’s acclaimed adventures and see if you have what it takes to impress a criminal mastermind. Race the clock, pause for in-built breaks, and make key decisions that affect the path your story takes.  And if you manage to find Moriarty’s safe house, he might just make you an offer you won’t refuse…

Alcotraz

When you think of heading out for a cheeky cocktail, your first thought isn’t usually being thrown into a prison cell with a bunch of strangers (unless the night suddenly takes a turn for the worse). And, yet here we are writing about another mega immersive experience making a name for itself in the city.

Playing homage to your favourite cult TV shows Orange is the New Black and Prison Break, Alcotraz will see you thrown in a prison cell for the night. Prepare to channel your inner criminal as you try to smuggle liquor past The Warden (I guess it’s no different to when you smuggled tinnies into the club back at uni) and into the hands of some of Alcotraz’s longest-serving inmates. Once you make your way past the shady characters and gangstas hanging around the bars, you’ll be treated to some of the finest cocktails in London, prepared by only the best bootleggers in the business (well, cell).

Otherworld

There’s a whole new world awaiting your discovery at Otherworld that’s just itching to play havoc with your senses. The Otherworld experience is quite literally as wild as the image suggests, incorporating all things VR, immersive and scientific. You’ll find yourself experiencing everything from fighting off zombies to slashing fruit with swords, dancing the night away with lightsabers to exploring the wilderness with a tiny ickle mouse. And, if that doesn’t grab you, its neon-cum-pastel lights are enough of a visit alone.

Secret Theatre Project

Darling, you shall go to the ball.

You’ve just received the best invitation to a masquerade ball at London’s swankiest five star hotel. The Game Is Now: Sherlock

If you’ve ever fancied yourself as a bit of a Sherlock Holmes, now’s your chance to live like the detective (well, for 100 minutes at least) in The Official Sherlock Live Game. Created by series creators Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss, in collaboration with renowned escape room pioneers, Time Run, this immersive experience will see you exploring some of the series most iconic sets as you go about your agent training. With original content from Benedict Cumberbatch, Martin Freeman, Mark Gatiss and Andrew Scott, this experience will test your powers of deduction, your ability to work in a team and to examine all evidence.

Crooks 1926

It’s 1926, London and violence as rocketed, bargains have been broken and uncertainty is everywhere. Because of these three categorising characters you’re on your own path to shape this thrilling experience… Whether you opt to run riot and orchestrate complete take over of the city or you ‘go it alone’ as you scheme your way to the finish line, each adventure is different and the choice reverts back to your actions entirely. Expect hair-raising scares and mystifying choices.

Pirates of the Hidden Spirit

Ahoy there, me hearties, do we have the ultimate Captain Jack Sparrow-esque experience for you!

Aboard The Hidden Spirit and become part of the Captain Jack Cassidy undercover crew as you go in search of the ditched treasures lost out at sea. And, legend has it they’re worth over $2 million… Along the way, you might under come some struggles but the tempting cocktails aboard ship will cast your seasickness away.

Trapped in a Van

Here’s the deal, for some reason or other you and your crew are in a prison van headed straight for Pentonville. Your luck has run out. You were caught and found guilty. The problem is you don’t really fancy a life behind bars. Jumpsuits just aren’t your thing. All you have to do is, stop the van, escape it and then retire in the Bahamas. Simple. Except you can’t use brute force this time to get your way, this time you need to use your brain. Do you think you can manage that?
