Can you even call it a weekend if you aren’t sashaying your way through chocolate cocktails, waltzing around the latest exhibition, or channeling your inner Audrey Hepburn in Harrods? Well, this weekend will see you doing all this and a whole lot more. Here’s to one mega classy weekend ahead!
Forget the dreary, drizzling rain you see outside your window and go explore a literal rainbow at NOW Gallery’s latest exhibition. Emmanuelle Moureaux has worked her magic in her new exhibition, Slices of Time, filling the gallery with multicoloured paper cutouts inspired by the vibrant shades of Tokyo. Each layer is said to represent the past, present and future, and individuals are encouraged to write down a significant date and express what makes it so special to them. It’ll become part of a timeline that’ll help create a kaleidoscope of colour.

One plant that’s supposedly easy to keep alive season after season is the orchid. Maybe I’m a bad plant mum but I’m yet to witness it. Groans aside, we want to draw your attention to a festival dedicated to the pretty little bloom. This weekend explore the wonderful Indonesia in Kew’s annual orchid festival. Indonesia is home to over 5,000 species of orchids and you can see them in all of their glory at Kew.
