Another Pantry’s Pop-Up Grocery Store

Food writer and photographer Safia Shakarchi has recently launched an exciting new recipe platform, Another Pantry. It champions the best of seasonal, slow and conscious cooking, combining recipes from the British food community that celebrate contemporary food culture.

To celebrate the launch, Another Pantry is hosting a pop-up concept grocery store at Coal Drops Yard this month. The week-long pop-up will feature independent restaurants, bakeries and British-based food branches, helping to support the hospitality industry and encourage Londoners to think more carefully about where food actually comes from.

On hand will be Merlin Labron-Johnson’s own cider from his Somerset restaurant Osip, wine and cocktails from St John Bread & wine, regeneratively grown flour from Wildfarmed, confit potatoes and pies from Quality Chop House and more. There’ll also be still life drawing on Thursday 17th and a pasta making workshop on Sunday 20th.
