  The Handbook braved the cold weather and headed to Bishopsgate to try out the steak at the iconic Chez Gérard. Created back in 1975, classic steak frites were the order of the day, now owned by Brasserie Bar Co, Chez Gérard has stayed true to its founding of French brasserie great steak but has brought it up to date with a little bit of reinvigoration.
