Tutti Frutti at Kew Gardens

From this Saturday 25 May until 1 September, Jellymongers Bompas & Parr are joining forces with Kew Gardens to create a major installation as part of Kew’s summer festival IncrEdibles which celebrates the diversity of 30,000 edible plants. Entitled Tutti Frutti, the installation will involve a floating Pineapple Island in the middle of the pond outside the Palm House which itself will be transformed into a giant fruit salad boating lake! The Five Fields

Today the countryside comes to Chelsea with new 40 seater restaurant, The Five Fields in Blacklands Terrace. It takes its name from its location which was known as The Five Fields back in the 18th century – as recorded by cartographer John Rocque. The modern, seasonal menu is inspired by those original green fields and focusses on rare herbs and vegetables, grown in the restaurant’s own East Sussex gardens.
