Dinner at Elistano

Friday night in Chelsea and the King’s Road is beginning to fill up. The same however, couldn’t be said for Elistano, the Italian restaurant just off Sloane Avenue. At its peak, there were just 4 tables occupied including my own. Despite the poor turnout, there were no excuses for slack service, and it wasn’t. The contemporary ‘kaiten’ (conveyor belt) Japanese restaurant K10 has been serving sushi to the City for 12 years but is now set to expand on its Copthall Avenue location with the launch of a second, larger restaurant on the nearby Appold Street. Matt Robinson joins Bluebird Chelsea as Head Chef

D&D London is thrilled to announce the appointment of Matt Robinson to the position of head chef at Bluebird Chelsea. He will be taking over the Bluebird kitchen, replacing Mark Block. In a follow-up to its Poland Street forerunner, Apartment 58, the global members club for the creative industries launched its new APT58, at Centre Point during LFW. Situated underneath the iconic tower, it spans four storeys and 8,000 square foot. Limewharf presents three weeks of salon inspired food-focused events called ‘Eat the World’; launching on the 6th March 2013.
