If there’s one thing the Queen loves more than afternoon tea, it’s her beloved corgis. So it seems fitting that someone was going to launch an event dedicated to her furry friends in line with her Platinum Jubilee.
That’s exactly what dog event extraordinaires, Pug Cafe has done! To celebrate Her Royal Highness The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, they’ll be hosting a one day only pop-up event inspired by her favourite dog breed. And it’s the first event of its kind…
Launching on Saturday 29th May, the UK’s first ever Corgi Cafe will be landing at Drake & Morgan’s The Refinery at Bankside venue. The whole day is packed out with pooch friendly activities, welcoming corgis of all sizes, cross-breeds and ages and their human friends to come together to celebrate The Queen and the special doggos.
It’ll be complete with free Pupuccinos from the famous Pop + Bark Puppuccino Bar...
The Refinery at Bankside will be completely taken over for the 80 minute ‘off lead’ social experience. It’ll be complete with free Pupuccinos from the famous Pop + Bark Puppuccino Bar, Jubilee pupcakes and treats from Rudi’s The Doggy Bakery, free professional photos of your dog that can be downloaded after the event, and even a designated ‘chill zone’ for nervous or older Corgis and guests.
Corgi Boutique by The Crafty Dog Co will be on hand with all of the latest dog accessories to purchase too. Plus, there’ll also be access to secret guest-only doggy discounts and freebies with every booking to the event.
It’s not all about the pooches though, as Drake & Morgan will be serving up a delicious brunch menu, lunch options and coffees and cocktails too. Perfect for enjoying out on the terrace or indoors too.
And don’t worry, even if you don’t have a pet corgi, you’re welcome to join in on all of the fun too!
Whether you’re as Corgi obsessed as The Queen or you’re just looking for somewhere to take your pooch over the weekend, this is the perfect event to welcome the summer time and start the Jubilee celebrations the weekend before.
