If you’re someone who always gives a few scraps of Christmas dinner (or lunch) to your four legged, barking companion, but always wanted to give them more, then Hilton Hotels will grant that wish the next time you stay.
The hotel chain is serving up three course meals for your festive canine from 3rd December at its 29 dog-friendly outlets, until the 23rd of the same month. You will, unsurprisingly, need to book a room to be able to take part, but once you’ve done so you and your dog will be able to enjoy a very fancy culinary experience.
So, what will garçon be serving your hound? The menu includes “Festive Steak Bites”, a kind of starter for your dog consisting of marinated biltong treats. Then there’s “Howl-iday Roast”, which is roast turkey with mashed potato and a selection of vegetables and gravy. It also includes something called “Pugs-in-blankets”, which brings to mind dog cannibalism, but I suppose Hilton just wanted to throw in another dog pun.
It's all very posh (or paw-sh, if we're going down that route)
For dessert, there’s “Christ-Mutt Pudding”, which is a slow cooked beef brisket pudding topped with white sauce. Finally, to go with your pet’s meal, there’s “Single Mutt Whisk(er)y” (two puns in one) which is 100% alcohol free and 100% natural tipple for dogs. It’s all very posh (or paw-sh, if we’re going down that route).
If you’re wondering if it’s worth it, the experience has been given the seal of approval by Lily, Boris & Darcy, three dog Instagram influencers (which is apparently a thing now). You can watch their video review of the dinner on the right, as well as check out their account.
Neither Pawdon Ramsay nor Hugh Fur-nley Whittingstall were available to comment.

This isn’t the first time Hilton has launched a dog friendly meal: earlier this year, the company introduced “Bone Appétit”, a menu designed for hounds which was fairly similar to the new Christmas version. That dinner was designed to reward dogs that helped their owners throughout the pandemic at their dog friendly hotels.

Hilton partnered with Woof & Brew to bring this three course experience to your pet’s taste buds, who provide healthy treats for our animal friends. Presumably, you’ll be able to have some food alongside your pooch, and it certainly all seems worth it if you really want to spoil them this Christmas.
