Rainy spring days call for curling up on the coach and clicking on Amazon Prime. To make your lazy days even easier, we’ve picked out the streaming platform’s top watches so you don’t have to. From funny sci-fi sit-coms to psychological thrillers, our list has every genre to keep you entertained.

Hacks has finally hacked its way onto Amazon Prime and we could not be more excited. The HBO Max dramedy stars Emmy Award-winning actress Jean Smart as Deborah Vance, a legend in the Las Vegas stand-up scene. At risk of losing her Vegas residency and relevancy, she reluctantly teams up with a struggling young comedy writer to make some much-needed new material. Getting off to a rocky start, the unpredictable pair set aside their differences and accept their self-righteous similarities.

Smart’s leading performance is show-stopping as she swept last year’s awards season as Deborah, collecting an award from the Emmys, Golden Globes, SAG Awards, Critics Choice Awards and Television Critics Association. Overall, Hacks puts on quite a show that we highly recommend attending.

Deep Water

Wrought with romance and revenge, there’s much more beneath the surface of Deep Water than its star-studded cast. Led by Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas, the story centers on Vic and Melinda, a troubled couple in small town Louisiana. While their life appears picture-perfect, the only thing holding their loveless marriage together is Melinda’s ability to take as many lovers as she pleases. In this open relationship, Vic grows increasingly jealous as he goes on to murder Mellisa’s list of misters.

Released earlier this year, this erotic psychological thriller has already shot to the top of Amazon’s top-rated list, and we can see why. Once you hit play, we guarantee you won’t be able to help but sink your teeth deep into Deep Water.

In this funny-yet-futuristic Amazon Prime original, humans have the ability to upload their consciousness into an afterlife simulator once they pass away. When computer programmer Nate meets his untimely fate, he’s sent to the idyllic Lake View simulation where he meets Nora, his still-living, customer service “angel”. There, she helps Nate transition into his new, digital afterlife and attempts to uncover the cause of his untimely death.

From Emmy-winner Greg Daniels, creator of comedy series staples such as The Office US and Parks and Recreation, Upload is a seriously funny new sci-fi comedy that defies the laws of physics and humor. Having released its second season early this spring, there’s no better time than now to tap into the simulation and stream Upload.

Focusing on the life of England’s greatest striker, Wayne Rooney, it’s almost an obligation as a Brit that you must binge Rooney. The documentary follows the football legend’s long career on the field, showing how he went from debuting at Manchester United at a mere 16 to becoming England’s all-time top scorer.

No matter your club alliance, anyone can respect the legend that is Rooney. If for some reason Rooney is not your cup of tea, the documentary also features many famous faces of football, including David Beckham, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Thierry Henry. Overall, Rooney is an absolute score.

It’s not a reach for us to say that Reacher is one of Amazon Prime’s hottest shows right now. Based on the Jack Reacher book series written by Britain’s own Lee Child, the show focuses on Jack Reacher, a former U.S. military policeman, as he’s wrongfully arrested for a murder he didn’t commit. After being released, he finds himself caught up in a conspiracy with questionable cops, shady businessmen, and corrupt politicians as he tries to uncover what’s really going on in Margrave, Georgia.

Based off of the first book in the Jack Reacher series, “Killing Floor,” the show’s premiere season is absolutely explosive. Although it’s not the first time the series has moved from the page to the screen, Reacher’s Alan Ritchson gives Tom Cruise a run for his money when it comes to his portrayal of the title character. As much as the books are a must-read, this series is officially a must-watch.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel

Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is, well, marvelous! A Prime Original series, this punchy period piece puts a spotlight on Miriam “Midge” Maisel as she derails her ideal life as New York City housewife to pursue a career in stand-up comedy. Set in the late 1950s, this tale breaks tradition as Midge uses her wit to break into the male-dominated industry, risking her comfortable life for comedy.

The series has collected its fair share of awards over its past three seasons, and we expect its recently released fourth season will do the same. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel will satisfy binge-watchers and trend-watchers as Emmy-winning Rachel Brosnahan delivers a fantastic story in fantastic fashion.

Joe Bell

Based on a true story, Joe Bell tells the tale of a father who treks across the country to raise awareness of bullying against young members of the LGBTQ community. With a gay son who was tormented throughout high school for his sexuality, Joe Bell embarks into the heartland of America to teach tolerance and pay tribute to his son.

Mark Wahlberg truly makes a mark with his heart-wrenching performance as his character battles between his desire to educate and his desire to spend time with his son. The flashes back and forth in time will take you through a whirlwind of emotions, so we highly recommend grabbing some tissues before you decide to stream this eye-opening (and eye-watering) film.

Wolf Like Me

All the way from down under, Wolf Like Me has landed on Amazon Prime for you to stream, and we recommend doing so immediately. Set in Adelaide, Australia, the story follows Gary and Mary as fate leads them to repeatedly cross paths. However, each has their own set of emotional baggage. Gary, played by Josh Gad, is a widowed, now single father struggling to raise an 11-year-old, while Mary, played by Isla Fisher, has a complex, dark past that she does not want to unpack.

Pulled together by destiny, the two bond over their past hardships and help one another move forward. Fresh off of its first season, the show’s talented cast and enthralling storyline will keep you clicking for the next episode.
