There’s Something New Cooking At Dishoom – And You Don’t Want To Miss It

3rd September 2024 | By Andrea Pinto

You know what they say – Mumbai is a city, Bombay is an emotion. And no one has done it better than Dishoom when it comes to bringing a taste of that to London. From their infamous big Bombay breakfasts with steaming hot chai to their chilli-cheese toast and keema pau, Dishoom’s menu features some of London’s most loved Indian dishes, and now they’ve got some exciting news.

For the first time ever, Dishoom is launching an exclusive supper-club series to celebrate a brand new menu that’s on the cards. But…you’ll be lucky if you get a spot on it. Here’s everything we know about the new Dishoom supper club, and how to get a seat at the table:

What’s it about?

Things are quite hush-hush at the moment, but here’s all we know: At a top-secret location in London, Dishoom will be hosting a supper club series to introduce their new menu featuring exciting, undiscovered new recipes and cocktails. Co-founders Shamil and Kavi Thakrar, along with Executive Chef Arun Tilak, will be present to share stories and the inspiration behind the menu, and you can expect to learn all about the history and the evolution of Dishoom.

The lucky guests will be welcomed with a glass of fizz and treated to an incredible five-course meal with drinks that will include iconic favourites and flavoursome new dishes. As per the theme of the restaurant, the supper club will pay homage to Mumbai’s culinary traditions, and reimagine classic dishes that capture the spirit of the city.

How can you sign up?

Priced at £70 per person, tickets will be sold in pairs, and are only bookable through a ballot entry. The ballot will open on Thursday, 5th September at 10am and close on Tuesday 10th September at 11:59pm. Names will be drawn on Wednesday 11th September at 10am and successful entrants will be notified via email. If you are successful, you will have 24 hours to secure your tickets by following the registration link in your email.

Remember to complete the full registration form and process the payment to receive ticket confirmation – if you don’t, your tickets will be released for redrawing. Any unclaimed tickets will be redrawn on Thursday 12th September at 12pm.

When and where will the supper club take place?

No word yet on the location, but we do know that the series will be hosted on 25th, 26th and 27th September from 7pm onwards, at a private venue in SW9, and frankly, these spots might be as hard to get as Oasis tickets.
