Is there anything greater than a free cocktail? This Mother’s Day, Mayfair’s fines resto, Galvin at Windows is celebrating by offering all you mamma’s a free Bellini when you dine. Alongside the fizz, head chef Joo Won and his talented team have created one extra special three course menu too. Perfect.



Hotel Café Royal

Royally treat your mum this Mothering Sunday with an afternoon tea that’s been tested to perfection. Situated in the Oscar Wilde Lounge, expect to be delighting in the quintessentially British staple, equipped with delicately presented sandwiches, perfect pastries and scones galore.

Brigit’s Bakery Afternoon Tea Bus Tour

It’s not every day you find yourself delighting in afternoon treats on top of a double-decker bus, but then again, it’s not everyday you’re dining with Brigit’s Bakery.

This Mothering Sunday treat mother hen to a girly day of shopping in Covent Garden before heading onto Brigit’s Bakery double-decker bus tour for an afternoon tea feast with a little French twist. You’ll be tucking into pastrami burgers with tomato salad and mustard infused mayonnaise, salmon pretzels with cream cheese and cucumber and sweet treats galore. It’s a truly special twist on the British classic.

The Petersham Hotel

Four courses of pure bliss. That’s what you can expect when you dine at The Petersham this Mothering Sunday. Chef Jean-Didier Gouges has tried, tested and perfected an extra special menu which includes pan fried seabass, roast sirloin and their famous crème brûlée.

Oh, and if you book a table after 4pm, one Mum goes free!

There’s nothing quite like your Mum’s Sunday roast. It’s meaty, comforting and boy, we miss it when we’re away from home. But, rather than hassling your Ma to slave away in the kitchen this Mothering Sunday, let her sit back and relax as you both indulge in a roast unlike any other at Roast restaurant. From crispy pork belly to roast Hereford beef, there’s a meat (or veggie option) for all here.

The Montague on the Gardens

There’s tea for every occasion over at The Montague on the Gardens and there’s certainly one for your mother too. Executive Chef, Martin Halls, has crafted an afternoon tea experience that beats the rest. Expect to be delighting in egg mayonnaise and mustard sandwiches, traditional fruit scones and a selection of seasonal pastries too. Bloomin’ marvellous.

One restaurant that’s utilising traditional Japanese specialist cooking methods is ROBATA. Why not share the experience with your mum this Mother’s Day and delight in sharing plates, light bites and cocktails.

Maitre Choux

We all know that the best part of any afternoon tea are the cakes at the end, so why not bypass the sandwiches and go straight for the main event? Maitre Choux has turned their delectable eclairs into a full-blown afternoon tea especially for Mother’s Day, full of their signature éclairs and choux with Laurent-Perrier Champagne. There’s also a Mother & Daughter Pink Afternoon Tea where a non-alcoholic option will be served in mini Champagne bottles.

Tea, tea and more tea. That’s the overall theme over at the glamorous Palm Court in Mayfair. This Mothering Sunday, treat your mum to The Palm Court’s Mother’s Day afternoon tea special with free-flowing bubbles and even a special gift from Molton Brown for your Ma too.

Terrace On Piccadilly

If there’s one tale you remember reading with your mum when you were growing up, it’s Peter Rabbit. Delight in your favourite childhood classic and let the stories come to life as you indulge in The Terrace on Piccadilly’s Peter Rabbit inspired afternoon tea, and all mother’s will receive a complimentary glass of Champagne. A personal favourite of the afternoon treat is the flower-pot hideout. It’s essentially an edible chocolate pot bursting with chamomile mousse, blackberry, chocolate ‘mud’ and sponge cake. Delightful and cute.

My, oh my, does South Place Hotel have a Mother’s Day treat for you and your mamma! They’re celebrating the special day with a screening of the crowd-favourite Mamma Mia. Curl up, chomp through buckets of homemade popcorn and sing until your heart’s content to these ABBA faves.

New kid on the block nhow London has a Mother’s Day treat for you and it comes in the shape of a tempting three course menu and a bottle of pop…

Both your mother and you will be tucking into sea scallops with black pudding, fried cauliflower and pea puree, pan fried halibut served with wild rice, spring vegetables and pepper sauce, and a tempting coconut and chocolate mousse. Delicious.

Nobu London Old Park Lane

Forget the standard set-menu and dive into Nobu London Old Park Lane’s irresistible Japanese-Peruvian cuisine. As if you needed another excuse to spend your day wining with your mum, but Mother’s Day is around the corner so celebrate it with free flowing cocktails and bubbles at Aqua Kyoto’s weekend brunch. Food wise, you’ll be tucking into rock shrimp tempura with chilli and garlic mayo; green tea matcha soba noodles, ginko nut, Japanese mushrooms, edamame and onion teriyaki; and an omakase dessert platter. Brunch isn’t completely if it isn’t bottomless, and we might have found our new favourite spot for bottomless brunch delights. Art Yard Bar & Kitchen is offering an afternoon of bottomless brunch, free Pai skincare gifts and live DJ sets, all nuzzled amongst a wild selection of wacky art.

Perfect the art, or at least giggle your way to ‘perfection’ on the dumpling front.

Here’s one just for you lucky mums. 

After a big restoration, The Library is reopening just in time for you to delight in their afternoon tea for Mother’s Day. Think views overlooking the River Thames and the Houses of Parliament, while you delight in traditional sweet treats and picture-perfect sandwiches.
