Calling all Yummy Mummies, are your child’s clothes letting you down in the style stakes? Well, from November of this year help is at hand, thanks to Miss McCartney and her growing empire.

Yes Stella is the latest fashionista to cave to the cuteness of baby apparel, and has teamed up with American high street giant Gap to produce an affordable limited line for kids. The mother-of-three will be drawing on her own life experience, as well as her time at the top of the fashion food chain to create a new way “for customers to be able to participate in the Stella McCartney brand”. The designer holds strong the value of “accessibly priced” clothing for children, and said expressed a lot of excitement about the one-off collection.

Gap too, naturally, are pleased about the collaboration, which will attract a lot of media attention and remind customers of their presence during a retail lull. Mark Hansen, president of the Gap brand, said “We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to build on successful past collaborations with a world class design talent like Stella”. The line will be available at select stores in the UK, US, Canada, France, Ireland and Japan.
