Brompton Quarter Rocks

25th May 2010

You might not immediately think of South Kensington being as rock ‘n’ roll as Camden but appearances can indeed be deceptive!

The Brompton Quarter Brasserie on Brompton Road which counts the Brompton Oratory as a neighbour, is staging a Knightsbridge coup d’etat with its Rock ‘n’ Roll photography exhibition showcasing famous prints from the 1950s and 1960s.

The images have been shot by leading photographers David Montgomery, Terry O’Neill and Baron Wolman and include pictures of iconic music legends from Jimi Hendrix to The Who.

Both the restaurant and the exhibition are open from 7.30am to 10.30pm seven days a week so whether you fancy a bit of browsing over a breakfast of seasonal fruits, pastries and organic smoothies or you prefer to pick out a purchase over a night cap then the brasserie has got it covered.
