Anya Hindmarch and Sir Paul Smith were honoured at this year’s Condé Nast Traveller Innovation and Design Awards. The fourth annual awards, held in association with Marriott Hotels & Resorts, recognises design innovations which enhance the travel experience.
In the Retail category, Anya Hindmarch’s won the prize for a new bespoke service which allows clients to have their own messages embossed onto handbags and wallets. Whether it be embossing a message into the leather products or designing a wallet from start to finish, Anya offers it all. Expect retail prices to range from ’65 pounds, or $105, for a leather key-ring to 6,500 pounds, or $10,500, for a large Bespoke Ebury bag in crocodile skin.’
The concept first launched exclusively at Pont Street, Knightsbridge, this location has been transformed to the Bespoke Boutique, where it’s workstation and part shopping experience. For those of you not in the London area, the designs are available online too.
Sir Paul Smith triumphed in the Style On The Move category for his limited-edition Evian bottle as well as his Cylinda Range tablewear for Stelton in celebration of the firm’s 50th Anniversary.
