Jo Malone celebrates Sloane in Bloom

The Handbook
By | 26th May 2010

As if we needed any further excuse to drop into Jo Malone, now the Sloane Street store has transformed itself into an irresistible heady hub of floral delights, making it impossible to pass by without a peak inside.

The transformation co-insides with the Chelsea flower show and marks the fifth year of the Sloane in Bloom competition, which invites surrounding retailers to create inspiring floral window displays to be judged by the Royal Horticultural Society and the Sloane Association.

This year at Jo Malone, Wild At Heart florists have taken their inspiration from the limited edition White Tie & Tiara Cologne, named after the ‘White Scented Garden’ at Sir Elton John and David Furnish’s Windsor home. The creation is beautiful but also symbolises Jo Malone’s donation of £150,000 to the Elton John AIDS Foundation. The beautiful new fragrance couldn’t be in aid of a better cause and each purchase of White Tie & Tiara 2010 supports the donation.

The floral creator, Nikki Tibbles of Wild At Heart, will be in the boutique from 11am until 4pm on Thursday 27th May to speak to customers about the window installation and is available to answer any questions.

To round off the visit, you can enjoy a glass of champagne and canapé or two. Just get there before Saturday 29th May, so you don’t miss out.

Bouquets of flowers designed by Wild At Heart will be available and throughout May, a selection of beautiful books are also available to inspire all your gardening dreams.
