With the first opening in Edinburgh now a firm fixture on the UK landscape, the second installment in the Missoni Hotels chain is due for an autumn launch in Kuwait (the new Dubai don’t you know!)

Housed in the capital city’s Symphony Centre development, the 18 floor, 169 room Hotel Missoni Kuwait promises free wifi and movies and better still – complimentary minibars and laundry service!

The site will overlook the Arabian Gulf and also feature a Six Senses Spa and a large outdoor pool and terrace.

And with rates starting at around $220 – that doesn’t half sound like a good deal. Factor in free airport pick-up by one of the hotel’s Maserati limos and said rates get more attractive by the minute!

With three more locations – Cape Town, Oman and Brazil, slated for the next couple of years, it’s certainly all systems go and Gulf News has recently reported that Rosita Missoni and co have outsourced the interior design of the Kuwait project to one Michael Graves.

Don’t worry, though, the Missoni clan are still master-minding the bigger picture and rest assured, there’ll be plenty of those trademark stripes!
