Sketch at the RA

3rd December 2010

To coincide with its GSK Contemporary exhibition 'Aware: Art Fashion Identity' which examines how we use our clothing to communicate who we are (or want to be) to the outside world, The Royal Academy is staging a fabulous cafe in conjunction with Pierre Gagnaire's Sketch restaurant. The Parisian themed pop-up features a stage set interior designed by Andres Ros of the Maison Beton collective who, inspired by SS 2011 catwalk collections has collaborated with jewellery designer Mawi, queen of sunnies Linda Farrow, artist Dinos Chapman and Harper's Bazaar Magazine. The resulting fusion of fashion, art and food is good enough to eat – and better still, you can thanks to Pierre Gagnaire special menu which runs from breakfast through to lunch and tea.
