This weekend sees the return of the St Andrews Charity Show, the largest student-run event of its kind in the UK. Home to innovative student designers, major corporate sponsors and a raucous after-party, the event is raising valuable funds for UK cancer support charity Trekstock.


The show, now in its nineteenth year, continues to push boundaries with its marketing and branding around the small Scottish town in which it is based – this year has seen the launch of a pop-up shop in St Andrews selling a huge range of Trekstock merchandise, much of which is designed in collaboration with some of the charity’s celebrity patrons. The online FS Magazine continues to document the trends that have caught the eyes of the ever-watchful committee, whilst this year’s creative theme – colour – has been splashed across print ads in abundance.

This year’s catwalk will be ablaze with designs from Amanda Wakeley, PPQ and William Tempest, as well as submitted designs from some of the UK’s hottest young talent, in the battle for the title of Alfa Romeo Young Designer Award. The much-anticipated auction, a highlight of the evening, features a host of prizes including exclusive venue packages from some of The Handbook’s favourite London nightclubs – Mahiki, The Valmont Club and The Collection .
