Party Pan Am style

The Handbook
By | 2nd November 2011

As we fasten our seatbelts for the BBC’s Pan Am to hit out screens, a brand new hostess with the mostess service is hitting the land of hospitality. Let us introduce you to Troli Doli – a fleet of female (and male) models pushing airline trolleys and prepared to cater to you (almost) every whim.

When you hire this season’s answer to Butlers in the Buff, and they’ll glide around your party serving up a choice of hot or cold beverages – though we suspect there’ll be a bit more call for the latter –  plus anything else that takes your fancy from retro snacks to posh canapés.

Companies can even have the dollies’ uniforms customised or branded and while they may not be lighting up our tv screens just yet, theatrical training ensures they’ll be bang on message! A word of warning, though, if you’re thinking of chatting one up, you’ll have to come up with something a whole lot more original than an invitation to join the mile high club. They might just have heard that line before…
