A Plateau of a time on NYE

22nd December 2011

If travelling into central London on New Year’s Eve seems a little too painstaking, why not stay where you are?

If you’re in the vicinity of Canary Wharf this end-of-year, why not head to Plateau restaurant and have a whale of a time there?

Former Bluebird chef Allan Pickett (who trained under both Michel Roux Jr and Marco Pierre White, has ensured all will be special on the night. There are 3-course menus priced at £35, which come with their own glass of festive mulled wine served in the informal Bar & Grill. Or, if you prefer, there’s an extra special 5-course tasting menu – with Champagne – in the main restaurant.

From the 4th floor of Canada Tower, what could be better than listening to the restaurant’s live music and overlooking Canada Water’s twinkling ice-skating rink down below?
