Are you getting a little bit sick of all the Christmas posts? Well here’s one to cheer you up then.
Cast your minds forward to January, when Gaucho Restaurants will be hosting their third annual Divine Bovine Dinner on Tuesday 31st at their Piccadilly restaurant, Swallow Street.
Guests will be getting stuck in and creating their very own Lomo Beef Ceviche starter with the guidance of Mike Reid, Head Chef of Gaucho Piccadilly…. before the top three diners’ ceviches will be picked out by Matthew Fort, judge of TV’s Great British Menu, and awarded with ‘Argentine’ prizes.
The menu will comprise of a Bloody Mary with beef consommé on arrival, beef Empanadas and Entrana Fina (tender thin skirt of beef). Later on, a dulce de leche pudding with a twist will come to the table…while all, of course, will be matched to fabulous Argentine wines.
And there’s a chocolate and beef truffle, designed by none other than chocolatier Paul A Young, to take away on one’s way home.
Tickets cost £80pp
Guests will be treated to a live link up to the Pampas and a behemoth of bovine facts and anecdotes from SeÃ±or Fort.
