One Room, Three Global Names

Kicking off 2012 at The Front Room St Martin’s Lane is an exhibition curated by Crane.tv showcasing favourite objects created by their most-loved artists and designers.

The series starts on 9 Jan with work from Sir Terence Conran’s retrospective at London’s Design Museum. Next up on 16 Jan artist Kate MccGwire will present a cabinet of curiosities which she has collected over the years and continue to inspire her work and closing the show on 23 Jan is digital artist and founder of ‘Universal Everything’ Matt Pyke who will exhibit ultraviolet trees grown out of mathematical formulas and 3D-printed figurines borne from code.

The installations will be presented next to a state-of-the-art series of films by Crane.tv, showcasing intimate profiles of the chosen creatives giving an insight into the process and inspirations behind their careers and visitors can also take part in a rolling programme of live events, workshops and talks.
