Head to Benares Bar, Mayfair, this month .. and you'll get more than you bargained for.
Because head chef, the renowned Atul Kochaar is launching Chef Season: when top chefs from some other of the capital's top restaurants come together at Benares to create a series of fusion menus.
Some of the guest chef highlights? Well, Anna Hansen, from The Modern Pantry, will be around from 21st February to 5th March wowing the crowds with her talents, as will Richard Corrigan (20th March to 2nd April) and Nigel Haworth, from Northcote, from 3rd May to 16th May.
All the chefs will combine their culinary talents with those of the inimitable Atul, resulting with a menu consisting of 12 sharing dishes. Expect apricot-stuffed tandoori cottage cheese in pickling marinade, from Atul's menu.
Three plates are £21 per person.
