Turner prize winning artist Martin Creed has transformed the Gallery at sketch with large scale wall paintings and a redesign of the floor entitled Work No.1343 consisting of zigzagging lines of 96 different types of marble! Pierre Gagnaire has designed a menu to reflect Creed’s mantra “The whole world should be in it” and has sourced ingredients from around the globe including Guinness-poached salmon with dill and lemon gelée and Veal ragout with ginger and green apple. What’s more, every single piece of cutlery, glass, chair and table used for service will be different. Meanwhile, head sommelier Fred Brugues has worked with consultant Andrew Jefford to revamp and expand the wine list taking in Uruguayan Chardonnay-Viognier, Japanese Koshu, Romanian Pinot Noir, Austrian St Laurent and a blend of Syrah, Grenache and Carignan crafted in Algeria by French film star Gérard Depardieu.
