Jumeirah Carlton Tower has teamed up with master patissier Eric Lanlard to design a new Rêves d'orient afternoon tea menu for its Chinoiserie restaurant. We’re loving Pistachio financier with rose-flavoured cream and a duo of gourmet pop cones filled with dark chocolate ganache and Amarena cherries or with passion fruit ganache and chocolate popping candy. And as for the Lemon tart with raspberries, confit lemon peel and dark chocolate teardrop filled with chocolate mousse – well we don’t mind if we do. Eric has baked wedding cakes for A-listers including Madonna and Claudia Schiffer and also counts the Prime Minister David Cameron, Elton John and Lady Gaga amongst his clients. www.jumeirahcarltontower.com
