Every third Thursday of the month, at 8pm, the Intercontinental Park Lane takes you back in time to experiences the heady times of the cocktail-swilling, jazz-loving days of the Twenties. And guess what? One of those is coming up rather soon …
Gin & Jazz is the night we're talking about, and the next event is taking place on Thursday 19th July – it really ought not to be missed. What is it exactly? Well, it's the exciting combination of two of our most favourite things: smooth jazz and even smoother gin from the award-winning hotel's gin bar (which stocks 35 varieties), The Arch Bar. Specialty Hendricks Gin cocktails will be created for the night.
Singer Benoit Viellefon and The Orchestra, a band that proudly plays out some unforgettable live performances, will be taking to the stage ready to bewitch you all.
That's not all: in a nod to the dazzling bygone era of the roaring Twenties, Executive Chef Paul Bates will be creating some 'Gatsby-esque' sharing platters for the evening. Don't miss out on the 'Hotsy-Totsy' dish, £25 for two, and replete with foie gras burgers and chilli confetti.
Oh, and the entrance is free. Though you ought to book your spot in advance, as it's likely to be packed with others desperate to hear Benoit's romantic notes.
