Have you found somewhere to watch the Paralympics yet? Well, look no further than revered and delicious restaurant, Quaglino's.
What could be more tempting: every time Team GB pick up a gold in any event, the kind people at Quaglino's will be offering a complimentary glass of champagne for all the necessary celebrations. There will also be live coverage, all day long, of all the fun and games being had over in East London.
There are other reasons to visit the celebrated Mayfair restaurant in the coming weeks, however.
From 24th September, cheese will be taking centre stage. Jonathan Dupont, the restaurant's head sommelier, will be picking out a selection of delectable cheeses and their various best-matched wines. At 7pm on Monday 24th, the beautiful Prince of Wales Room will host the cheese-y night, for which tickets are priced at £35 per person. If you're keen to dine in the restaurant a little later on, all cheese and wine tasters can enjoy 10% off their eventual meal.
And, if you're keen to see what celebrity chefs are really like when up against it and in the midst of a busy, blazing hot kitchen, why not come and visit the restaurant on 3 Septmber. An exciting new BBC food show is being filmed at Quaglino's on that very Monday. Two celebrity chefs will be going head to head, offering up a starter, main and a pudding, too. At the end of the meal, whichever chef has made the most profit (or, whichever chef's food has been the most ordered of the two), will donate the sum of money to a charity of their choice. It's all a bit of fun, but the BBC and Quaglino's are keen for you to be in on the act. Are you game?
