Sanderson Mad Hatter Teas

Sanderson have teamed up with Shoreditch design collective Luna and Curious to create a truly unique afternoon tea: Mad Hatter's Afternoon Tea. Served daily, the afternoon tea has a magical, carnival theme, the menu is served in amongst the pages of a vintage book, napkins are wrapped in a riddle and sugar comes in a little musical box which plays 'Somewhere over the rainbow'. The crockery used is equally quirky and is illustrated with eccentric patterns of kings, queens, zebras and carousels.

The tea is equally delightful and fun, sandwiches are made using homemade bread such as smoked Cumbrian ham with whole grain mustard on sun dried tomato bread, and other treats include savoury and sweet scones, Victoria sponge cake, 'strawberries and cream' homemade marshmallow mushrooms. In Jelly Wonderland you will find delicious fruit jellies which are set in Victorian moulds and are presented on a lavish Phillipe Starck cake trolley. The afternoon tea is served with a selection of teas, which are all presented at the table so guests can savour the aroma of all the blends, champagne and elegant cocktails like the Pear and Elderflower Bellini. With the tea continually evolving and flavours changing season to season, it is an afternoon tea like no other.
