Chorographer George Balanchine called for his dancers to be ‘in the moment’ and to give everything, this is the inspiration that lies behind Now Is All There Is – Bodies in Motion the spectacular photographic exhibition at The Gallery at The Hospital Club.  The exhibition celebrates the physicality and expression of the dancers from the Royal Ballet. The 34 stylized images taken over two years by Rick Guest have been styled by Olivia Pomp who has focused the strength and power that must be inherent in the dancer’s poise. Evocative yet playful these black and white images bring together photography, dance and fashion. Dressed in unconventional garments which have been custom crafted by young British designers including Derek Lawlor and Georgina Pragnell, the ballet dancer are shown in a new light away from the Royal Opera House. All the photos are float mounted and framed in American Oak to create a stunning atmosphere for the exhibition.

The exhibition runs: 25th -27th January
