The Capital Hotel is embracing its Britishness next week, with the launch of a brand new but traditional Afternoon Tea selection. No venue could be more qualified to perform in this department, as last year The Capital Hotel won the ‘UK Tea Guild’s Award of Excellence for Top London Afternoon Tea 2012’. New this January 28th, the fresh menu is created by acclaimed chefs Nathan Outlaw and Pete Biggs, and will be served daily from 2.30 – 5.30pm. It is certain to delight lovers of both traditional and good honest food – featuring classical British teatime treats such as Smoked Salmon & Watercress Sandwiches, Homemade Eccles Cakes, and the mouthwatering Rhubarb and Ginger Trifle.  Not forgetting the ultimate of an Afternoon Tea experience: Scones with Strawberry Jam and Clotted Cream!
