So Michelin-starred chef William Drabble of the five star St James’ Hotel & Club has devised a gluten-free afternoon tea launching on Friday. We’re talking airy macaroons layered with fresh raspberries; delicate fancies embellished with seasonal berries; corset-friendly chocolate mousse cake; light lemon drizzle cake; and even scones dressed with clotted cream and a rich homemade strawberry preserve. there's also gluten-free bread in the wafer thin sandwiches. £19pp or upgrade to the haute couture version (a glass of Jacquart Champagne) for £34. Hmm does Champagne have gluten in it? Never mind eh.
