Brasserie Blanc has joined forces with The Royal Academy with an intoxicating new dessert made with one of the world’s most super-strong and notorious tipples, Abinsthe. Its Absinthe Sorbet has been specially designed to celebrate the restaurant’s official partnership with the RA’s exhibition, Manet: Portraying Life. It pays homage the artist’s first original work, The Absinthe Drinker and this strictly adults-only off-menu creation will be available for the duration of the retrospective (through 14th April 2013). All Brasserie Blancs will also be offering a special package throughout the exhibition with a ticket to the show combined with a two or three course Raymond Blanc set lunch plus a glass of Prosecco for £27pp (for the two course offer) or £29.50 (for three). Finally, until 14th April, anyone attending the exhibition can enjoy a complimentary glass of prosecco with their meal at all Brasserie Blanc branches by showing their ticket or ticket stub. The flagship restaurant in Covent Garden is also home to London’s largest selection of absinthe so order a large measure of La Fée Verte and have it delivered to your table together with its own water fountain, sugar and absinthe spoon.
