Whether you love or loathe the Eurovision Song Contest, it can’t be denied that the Eurovision Room at Bunga Bunga is the ultimate in all things Euro, and we can’t get enough of it! With the walls covered in memorabilia including gold discs, photos of Jedward and Terry Wogan, and oversized blinds embossed with Euro Hall of Fame legends and a Eurotrash-inspired fancy dress box complete with flares, spandex and lamé to keep revellers entertained and dancing until dawn.
And this Thursday just days before the final on Sunday, winner of the 1997 song contest, Katrina (Ex Katrina and the Waves) – you know the one of Walking on Sunshine fame, will be performing some of her greatest hits to revellers. But that is not all, they will also be serving up cocktails inspired by both the hits and disasters of the contest such as Waterloo, Mon Amour and our personal favourite the Jedward Sharing Cocktail, made from Jameson’s Whisky, Chartreuse, lemon juice, pineapple juice and sugar syrup. Well it would be wrong not to recognise their attempts at taking the crown, not once, not twice, but three times.
