Gourmet Pies at The Malt House

Think pies and you think Britain. This Bank Holiday think The Malt House. Situated in Fulham, this relative new comer to the pub world is run by the guys behind Hibiscus and the Fox and Grapes, the Bosi brothers, with Cedric at the helm and this bank holiday they are holding a gourmet pie sharing weekend. But these aren’t any humble pies, firstly with former Hibiscus Head Chef Marcus McGuiness heading up the kitchen you know you are in for a treat and secondly they are big enough for two so you can share the pastry love with a friend. The fillings are rather special too being true British classics: Traditional Steak and Ale, Pea, Ham and Smoked Eel and Leek and St George Mushroom. It’s running from the Friday to the Monday, definitely enough time to try all three.
