Kensington High Street’s Spaghetti House is celebrating its first anniversary this week and marking the occasion from today until 14 May, with a special menu of its best and most popular dishes – just £15.95 for two courses with a celebratory glass of Prosecco thrown in! Options include Lobster spaghetti with tomato, white wine, chilli and garlic (normally £15.95 on its own); Pollo Milanese – breast of chicken coated in seasoned breadcrumbs with rosemary potatoes, Pizza Parma and rucola, with tomato bruschetta, or Deep fried mozzarella arrabbiata. Dessert is Tiramisu, or the iconic Coppa Nostra – chocolate and vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce and crunchy praline. With the mantra, ‘Vivere per mangiare, non mangiare per vivere’ (live to eat, don’t eat to live), Spag House has been family owned since 1955, and remains London’s longest established restaurant group, with 12 venues across the capital. Cheers!
