It’s been 12 hugely successful weeks, but unfortunately it has come to the time where we have to say good bye to Street Feast at Merchant’s Yard. So to do this they are pulling out all the stops for what ensures to be one heck of a party with more great street food then you can shake a stick at.
To get things kicked off they have a ‘suped up’ Rotary Mobile Margarita Mixing Machine, and food from the likes of Ceviche who will be heading over from Soho, before they start their own pop up tour, with them they will be bringing their famous fresh seabass ceviche and pisco sours.
There will also be a mini reprise of Ribstock as Flat Iron, Redhook and Roti Chai Street Kitchen, bring 48-hour smoked USDA prime chuck short ribs, chicken wings and shrimp popcorn.
Young Turk’s James Lowe will be adding the Mexican flavour, with the wonderful combination of Old Spot pork shoulder lime, coriander and home made salsas. If sausages are your thing they you definitely have to get over to Disco Bistro who are going to be mixing up all things US with Japanese as they serve up the ‘Akita’ hotdogs, which are to the rest of us a rare breed smoked beef and pork sausage with toppings inspired by Tokyo.
And finally the wonderfully named Lardo are making their Street Feast debut, and it they can’t get there soon enough, we can’t wait to get our hands on the pork belly ciabatta which comes with fennel pollen, anchovy, rocket and mayo!
Street Feast will be back, but if we do have to say good bye then we might as well make the most and really indulge, well it would be wrong not to!
