Whether you enjoy tennis or whether you go just for the strawberries and cream, whether Henman Hill is heaven or hell for you, you can celebrate this year’s tennis tournament with afternoon tea served in the elegant Drawing Rooms of South Kensington hotel, The Ampersand.
Created by Chris Golding, the Head Chef of Apero, the hotel’s restaurant, and Pastry Chef Ji Sun Shin, the tea features modern twists on British classics, and includes Severn and Wye smoked salmon with dill and cream cheese, strawberry tarts, macaroons and adorable shortbread in the shape of tennis rackets. Tea and tennis is served!
