Porters’ Summer Scotch Eggs

Porters English restaurant  in Covent Garden covet Great British cuisine, and are well known for serving a brilliantly diverse menu bursting with English favourites, featuring steak and kidney pies, and home made ice creams.

No picnic is complete without them: the humble scotch egg. The quintessentially British classic has been around since 1738, but this summer Porters English restaurant are transforming them with the launch of several new additions, including a venison variation, and smoked haddock creation, and one for the vegetarians, made from lentils and spices. They are of course still serving their traditional sausage scotch egg, and each are of course perfectly cooked for you to find a runny egg in the center.
