Cinnamon Kitchen is proud to announce its most primal pop-up yet: The Butcher Bar at Anise in the city. Coinciding with game season, the meat based menu is designed by executive chef Vivek Singh who will put a blood thirsty twist on his modern Indian game classics.

Guests can feast on a sharing selection of beef, venison and grouse on a traditional block in an old-school butcher complete with hanging hooks, faux animals and feathered taxidermy.

Share-and-tear “Cinnamon Cuts” like venison and Prune kofta balls and aged beef sirloin with chili invite diners to release their inner caveman and ditch the cutlery. We can’t wait to get our teeth into the “Bloody Bhangra Burger” and “Tandoori Grouse Nest Pizza”.

No Carnivorous feast would be complete without the appropriate drinks menu. Highlights on the hit-list include the “Buffalo Butcher”, made from bacon infused buffalo trace, fresh tomato, horseradish and garnished with a crispy pigs ear or the “Mary had a Little Martini”.

The hunt begins on the 20th August and will run through till autumn so get out of your cave, take aim and fire, foodies.
