Bonnie Gull’s Wildlife Trust BBQ

On Friday 6th September Bonnie Gull seafood shack will be taking over the Wildlife Trust’s Camley Street nature reserve in Kings Cross to host an end-of-summer BBQ feast and raise funds for the Living Seas project. Expect food stations around the reserve serving a special menu from Luke Robinson.

You’ll get a cocktail on arrival plus a selection of Portland Pearl and Dorset Blue Oysters from the pop-up oyster bar – followed by Scandi-style salmon fillets nailed to a plank, and fired in wood pits, served with a shaved fennel and orange salad. The main event is Channel Squid and King Scallop skewers with tomato and rocket salad; BBQ Whole Mackerel served with almonds, cucumber, and Amalfi lemon; and Seabass stuffed with herbs, thyme and lemon oil.

Sounds come courtesy of Double Bass Dan and Friends (of Broadway Market fame) playing a mix of Doo Wop, Rock n’ Roll, Pop, Country, Ska, and Soul.

6-10pm, Camley Street National Park, Kings Cross, tickets: £50 with all profits donated directly to the Wildlife Trust, www.billetto.co.uk/bonniegullssummerbbq
