Boisdale of Bishopsgate has recently opened its doors to their brand new Burger and Oyster Bar. With an utterly decadent menu showcasing dishes of the highest quality, Boisdale’s have taken the usual burger and given it a first class upgrade.
The burger menu offers an array of options starting with the Classic, which includes lemon tarragon mayonnaise, dill pickles and beef tomatoes, adding an extra oomph to your typical burger and bun. The Inferno provides for the more fiery of diners, with smoked tomato, chilli relish and jalapeno peppers. Boisdale also offers Deluxe choices, meaning that maple glazed bacon or black truffle accompaniments are not absent from the menu. For the most opulent of choices, Boisdale’s Surf and Turf includes pulled lobster, tempura oysters and chilli spiced mayonnaise. Diners can choose from three types of staple burger on which to pile their toppings; choosing from Aberdeen Angus beef, Wild Highland venison and Fillet and bone marrow dry aged meat.
As an alternative, guests can opt for a choice from the Oyster menu, all being served in shallot vinegar and tabasco sauce. Being sold in both half dozens and individually, we are certainly tempted to team a burger and oyster option together! Side dished include thick cut or matchstick chips, truffle oil, leafy salads and beer battered onion rings.
So with one of Boisdale’s famous Malt whiskeys or Havana cigars in hand, where better to indulge in such an opulent menu.
