Rock n Roll, big time burgers and live music is all part of Gizzi Erksine’s upcoming event, the Rock n Roller Disco takeover at Skate Kings Cross. In collaboration with Carl Clarke, Erksine’s evening promises chase vodka cocktails and a roller disco, with music by The Black Cat Boppers to be played throughout the night.
Designed by Erksine herself, the menu is certain to be a treat, complete with welcome drink on arrival. ‘The Smokey Robinson’, is made with Chase English Oak smoked vodka, ensuring a punchy opening to the evening. To start, Erksine has selected chicken wings in a sticky glaze, with a selection of hot sauces to accompany the dish. This will be followed by a classic Rock n Roller burger with a twist. Rare breed burger, truffled beer cheese and pigs head bacon, are all included in this hearty main with a certain sophistication. With bone marrow gravy and aged beef dripping chips, this course ensures a truly rich indulgence. Whilst at this point most will struggle to fit in more, it would be impossible to refuse the traditional diner dessert a banana split to round off the terrific menu.
Roller skating will take place throughout the evening, and the live band accompaniment will ensure for a rock n roll filled night. Don’t forget your skates!
